COVID-19 Response & Safety

Drake Artistry Collective takes your health, the health of your guests, and our artist's health seriously.  We have expanded upon our already stringent sanitation and safety protocols to further protect our clients and ourselves during the COVID-19 pandemic.

General Sanitation & Safety Protocols

  • All stations, chairs, tools, equipment, and products are disinfected regularly before, after, and throughout the service.

  • Products are decanted onto a palette or working surface so as to eliminate cross-contamination.  Brushes are never introduced directly into a product.

  • Brushes are double-cleansed first with a disinfecting solvent-type cleanser to remove skin oils and makeup and then deep shampooed.

  • Artists follow CDC Handwashing protocols before, after, and sometimes during each session.

  • Artists follow a strict hand-sanitizing routine any time contact is made with the client.

  • Clients are asked to arrive for hair services with clean, dry hair.

  • No food or drink should be consumed during services.

On-Location Safety Protocols:

  • Artists require a separate room to work.  No one except the artists working and the clients being actively worked on are permitted in this room.  This room must also accommodate 6ft of distance between each artist's station.

  • Artists will wear a face mask at all times and when clients are unmasked (during makeup services), Artists will also wear a face shield or safety goggles.

  • Anyone in the makeup/hair prep room must wear a mask at all times unless they are actively receiving makeup services.  This is required even if makeup has already been applied.  In this instance, we will provide a disposable mask for you to wear and touch up anything that may have shifted while wearing the mask during service.

  • All clients are required to complete a health questionnaire and sign a COVID/Adverse Reaction waiver before services can be rendered.  Should a client refuse to sign this waiver, we cannot render services and no refunds will be issued for services not provided.

In-Studio Protocols:

  • No guests are permitted in the studio, at this time.  This is state-regulation.  Only the artist working and the client being actively serviced are permitted in the studio.

  • Artists will wear a face mask at all times and when clients are unmasked (during makeup services), Artists will also wear a face shield or safety goggles.

  • All clients are required to complete a health questionnaire and sign a COVID/Adverse Reaction waiver before services can be rendered.  Should a client refuse to sign this waiver, we cannot render services and no refunds will be issued for services not provided
